Hey, all. Just a few things going on to tell you about.

First of all, Octoberman is morphing a bit. After barely surviving the wilds of Boise and Seattle last weekend as a ‘power’ trio, Graham, Rob and I gladly welcome the handsomely talented C.L. McLaughlin (http://myspace.com/thenationalshield) on guitar. Also, the amazing Leah Abramson has agreed to join us onstage when she’s not touring with Dyad or blowing minds with her solo project (http://myspace.com/leahabramson). The bad news is we have lost our great friend Peter Doig to the world of science and Langley. But hopefully now he will have time to finish recording that long overdue Tailor Island album! Thanks for your heart/soul/time, peteR! Love!

On to shows… This Saturday, June 16, we’re playing the ‘Main Days Festival’ on Main & 28th (in front of Solly’s). It’s free and outside and good music, so you should swing by. Here’s the schedule:
11:00 am D. Trevlon (solo)
11:30 am Viper Central
12:15 pm Onward Voyageur
1:00 pm The Mohawk Lodge
2:00 pm Octoberman
3:00 pm Bella

Also, next Friday, June 22, we’re playing the Railway Club with our friends The Mohawk Lodge and my favourite new Vancouver band: Yukon (http://myspace.com/yukonsongs). It’s White Whale Records’ third year anniversary and also Ryder’s birthday, so it’s gonna be a party(!). I believe that we are on last..

The other day, we got the artwork for “Run From Safety” from Jeffry Lee and we’re f’in stoked! It’s being sent off to the presses tonight and the release date is still August 21, followed by a cross-Canada tour in October.

Sorry for the long wind.. Now slowly step away from the computer…
Marc
